SIEMPELKAMP INDIA PARTNERS WITH ELIXRR AND M5 GREEN: TRUST, REPUTATION, AND SUPERIOR QUALITY
Around 30 team members currently contribute their expertise to Siempelkamp India, with five new engineers having recently joined the company. The team, etablished in 2010, thus covers all core competencies for the planning and construction of a wood-based panel plant – from sales, project management, installation, programming, commissioning, to service. Siempelkamp India Ltd. now operates two branches - the headquarters are located in Kolkata, West Bengal, while a branch for software development and programming is based in Pune, Maharashtra.
Siempelkamp India is currently proud to be working on two ongoing projects with new customers, in which it is demonstrating its expertise. Both projects are either in the installation phase or about to be installed.
The partnership with Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd. represents a significant step, founded on mutual trust and close technical collaboration between both organizations. In 2025, the Indian company headquartered in Mumbai, ordered an MDF-plant, featuring an 8' x 33.8m ContiRoll® Generation 9 along with Contitherm Neo and AI-based Prod-IQ · SmartPress technology, underscoring Elixrr’s focus on high-performance and reliable production technology. This marks the company's entry into MDF production."The project is powered by cutting-edge continuous-press technology from Siempelkamp, Germany - globally regarded as the gold standard in wood-panel manufacturing equipment", according to Mr. Raman Poddar, President, Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd. Currently under installation near Gwalior (MP), India, the project will, upon completion, deliver a production capacity of 1100 m³ per day of MDF boards.
M5 Green Pvt. Ltd. has strategically entered the MDF production segment, leveraging world-class technology from Siempelkamp. This project likewise underscores the company's confidence in Siempelkamp's process expertise and technical solutions. This turnkey project includes a 4' x 33.8 m ContiRoll® Generation 9, complemented by Contitherm Neo and Siempelkamp Sifter, which are specially tailored to meet M5 Green's operational requirements in the use of South Indian tropical wood. Installation will begin in May in Pala (Kerala), India. Once completed, the plant will have a capacity of 600 m³ per day of MDF boards.
